CRP was founded in 2005 by Managing Principals Henry Brauer, Scott Freeman and Mark Harmeling in partnership with Colony Capital. The founding principals have more than seven decades of combined real estate experience. Together, they have successfully acquired and managed more than $6 billion of commercial real estate over the past 16 years.

Today, CRP manages a portfolio of nearly 150 individual investments valued at almost $4 billion. These investments are located throughout the United States in twenty-two major metro areas and include office, industrial, multifamily, and retail properties. The portfolio has over 1,600 commercial tenants and includes more than 7,000 multifamily units. CRP also has nearly $1 billion in additional capital ready to invest.

CRP’s primary investment strategy is to generate strong and consistent returns by creating diversified real estate portfolios with solid foundations of cash flow. With a focus on small to medium sized properties, CRP's average investment is approximately $30 million.
