Mr. Karnick, Managing Director - Acquisitions for Colony Realty Partners, LLC, is responsible for the origination, evaluation and acquisition of commercial property in California and other assigned markets.

Prior to joining the Manager in July 2005, Mr. Karnick was a Principal of Sequoia Realty Advisors where he was responsible for the firm’s consulting practice and advising clients on over $2.5 billion of acquired or portfolio-based commercial property. Previously, Mr. Karnick was a Vice President of ING Realty Partners in Los Angeles and was responsible for deal origination, due diligence, asset management and dispositions of properties totaling more than $500 million.

Prior to joining ING, Mr. Karnick was a Senior Consultant in the Financial Consulting Group of CB Richard Ellis. He began his real estate career as a Market Analyst with BRE Commercial. Mr. Karnick received his B.A. in History from the University of California, San Diego. He is a California licensed real estate broker and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
